Phu My Fertiliser's 2008 revenue up 170% against targeted figure

Total revenue in 2008 of the PetroVietnam Fertiliser and Chemicals Corporation, known as Phu My Fertiliser (DPM) is estimated to reach over VND 7.5 trillion, up 170% compared to the targeted figure of over VND 4.4 trillion, the corporation has announced.

The company's return on equity (ROE) is therefore estimated at over 40% and total before-tax profit for the whole year of 2008 is estimated to be VND 1.75 trillion, up nearly VND 600 billion against the targeted figure of VND 1.19 trillion.

DPM says 2008 dividend will be higher than the targeted figure it has pledged with its shareholders.
