Information provided to National Financial Supervision Committee
The Prime Minister has assigned the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the State Bank of Vietnam, Deposit Insurance of Vietnam to supply data and reports to the National Financial Supervision Committee as well as periodical and unscheduled information related to finance and banking as requested by the National Financial Supervision Committee.
Financial institutions including joint stock commercial banks, State-owned commercial banks, Vietnam Development Bank, Social Policies Bank, joint venture banks, 100% foreign invested banks, branches of foreign banks in Vietnam, financial companies, financial leasing companies, people's credit funds, postal saving services company, securities companies, insurance companies fund management companies and investment funds are also responsible to supply periodical and unscheduled information related to finance and banking as requested by the National Financial Supervision Committee.
The National Financial Supervision Committee is responsible for receiving, using and managing safely the provided information in conformity with the security regulations of the information suppliers, and thus, making analysis, assessment, forecast, and warning on the financial and banking system for periodical report to the Prime Minister.
