Workshop to boost Japan-Vietnam tourism cooperation

Nearly 200 representatives of Japanese and Vietnamese travel businesses participated in a workshop held in the southern city of Nha Trang on Oct. 3 to seek ways to boost tourism between the two countries.

At the event, the Japanese participants were supplied with information about Vietnam and Khanh Hoa’s well-known beauty spots, festivals, cuisines and potential destinations for different kinds of tours, as well as upcoming major tourism programmes in the country.

The workshop was followed by visits to some tourist attrations and working sessions between the local and Japanese travel businesses on opportunities for cooperation.
