Towards building a sustainable agriculture

A trade fair cum exhibition of agricultural products will held at the Vietnam Agricultural Exhibition Centre from September 19-23.

Lai Xuan Mon, chief of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association told a press briefing in Hanoi on September 15 that the event aims to promote coordination between the State, scientists, farmers and business people for the benefit of sustainable development in agriculture and the rural economy. It will help farmers diversify their agricultural products to meet the growing demands for domestic consumption and export.

The exhibition will showcase famous agricultural products from three regions and new technology being applied in the country with the aim of attracting both domestic and foreign customers.

During the exhibition, there will be trade promotion activities to introduce new products, services and trademarks of both domestic and foreign businesses and the organizing board will present gold, silver and bronze cups to those credited with a wide range of high quality products.
