Tienphong Bank successfully runs ElectraCard package
The Tien Phong Joint Stock Commercial Bank (Tienphong Bank), on October 23rd 2008, announced to successfully launch the electronic banking system, using Electra EFT Switch of ElectraCard Services (ECS) which is considered as among the top software solutions providers for electronic payment systems.
ElectraCard is used by Tien Phong Bank to integrate its ATM and card management systems into the Smartlink system. Specifically, ElectraCard will assist the Bank in running various transactions of automatic teller machines (ATM), point of sales (POS), and other advanced banking services, such as internet banking, the Fraud controlling system, the collection management system and others.
Using the ElectraCard package, Tienphong Bank aims at promoting the efficiency of its ATM system and branches while developing technological infrastructure for payment services and transforming its business targets.
Currently, the Bank links its 7 ATMs with over 3,500 ATMs of other banks by integrating Electra EFT Switch into Smartlink. As a result, the Bank could widen its network to allow its cardholders to get access to ATMs nationwide.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Dao Trong Khanh, General Director of Tienphong Bank, expressed his strong belief that this package could be best used to provide creative and value-added services to the Banks’ customers.
