KIS Vietnam Securities gets official go-ahead

The State Securities Commission has given approval in principle to grant an operation licence to KIS Vietnam Securities.

KIS has three shareholders, Korea Investment and Securities Company, Viet Ha Production, Trade, Investment and Service; and the Vietcombank Securities Fund Management Joint Venture Company.

The newly licensed company will act as brokers for securities, handle institutional trading, underwrite shares, and carry out investment and depository consulting.
