ABBank signs Microsoft deal for technology use

An Binh Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (ABBank) signed an agreement with Microsoft Vietnam last week for using its technology and licensed software.

The bank said the signing is aimed at standardising its operations internationally and bringing value addition for clients.

ABBank decided to deploy Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 for several reasons. They have long planned to combine their IT infrastructure with Microsoft’s compatible technologies.

Christophe Desriac, general director of Microsoft Vietnam , said: “It will help ABBank deliver new services quickly through the application of Microsoft’s advanced technologies.
