Sonadezi Long Thanh to list on City bourse
The Dong Nai Province-based Sonadezi Long Thanh Holding Company (SZL) is scheduled to get on the board of the HCM Stock Exchange next Tuesday, offering better liquidity for its 10 million shares.
The VND100 billion (US$6 million) company, an affiliate of the Sonadezi group, operates in areas including investment, development and operation of industrial parks’ technical infrastructure and housing projects, as well as consultancy on project establishment and development.
Two years ago it began investing in developing the technical infrastructure for the Long Thanh Industrial Park Project which covers 488ha of Long Thanh District.
The park now has roads, water drainage and supply systems, a water treatment factory, and a power supply and telecommnications network.
The park has attracted 67 projects with a total investment of $524 million, according to its chairwoman Do Thi Thu Hang.
SZL is developing the 36 ha-Tam An Residential Area next to the park, which will provide housing and services including schools, clinics and recreational facilities for people working in the park.
The company also contributes 10 per cent to the VND700 billion in chartered capital to the Chau Duc Industrial Park-Urban Area Project, which covers 2,200 ha in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
Last year the company earned VND67 billion from a VND253 billion turnover. The first half of the year netted over VND45 billion from a VND140 billion, respectively, completing 80 and 50 per cent of the year’s targets. Shareholders are expected to receive 2008 dividends of 30 per cent.
