Phu Yen's master plan by 2020 approved
From now to 2020, Phu Yen has set a target to become a major tourism and service centre in the central region and the country, according to an overall socio-economic development plan of Phu Yen province by 2020 which has just been approved by the Prime Minister.
The province also aims to become a new gateway to the east to develop the Central Highlands region and at the same time a key link in the regional development connection between the Central Highlands region and the central coastal region.
By 2020, Phu Yen will have one city, two townships and nine towns.
