Jetstar Pacific opens air routes to Thailand and Cambodia
Jetstar Pacific, Vietnam’s budget airlines, on Sept. 9 officially launched two international routes linking Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok in Thailand and Siem Riep in Cambodia.
Jetstar Pacific will conduct its first HCM City-Bangkok flight on October 31, and its first HCM City-Siem Riep flight on November 3, using 168-seat Boeing 737-400, which will be replaced by Airbus A320 in the future.
According to Jetstar Pacific, a trade promotion programme will be implemented on Sept. 10, with an airfare of only 32,000 VND (2 USD) for a flight between HCM City and Bangkok or HCM City and Siem Riep.
According to Jetstar Pacific General Director Luong Hoai Nam, as the number of passengers to fly from Siem Riep and Bangkok to Vietnam and vice versa are increasing, the two cities are the first destinations of Jetstar Pacific’s international air routes plan using a new fleet of A320s.
