Vietnam among top three ideal business destinations

Vietnam is still a potential market attracting more foreign businesses which want to develop operations in the country, said the Conference & Exhibitions Management Services Ptd Ltd. (CEMS) and Singapore Glass Association (SGA).

CEMS and SGA are co-organizers for the Glasstech Asia Exhibition, Build Asia-Pacific 2008 and Security & Safety Vietnam 2008.

Reports by the world’s leading real estate consultant company, Jones Lang LaSalle showed that Vietnam ranks third among ideal destinations to develop business, especially in the Asia – Pacific region. The list includes China, India, the Philippine and Singapore.

Mr. Edward Liu, General Director of CEMS said: “we believed that housing, retail shops and luxury building demand in Vietnam’s big cities and strong growth of the tourism sector would positively affect the economy in the present and the long term.”

The Glasstech Asia Exhibition 2008 is expected to attract the participation of Vietnamese and Singaporean businesses and other international businesses, to take place in Ho Chi Minh City Exhibition and Conference Center from November 20 to 22, 2008. The Build Asia-Pacific 2008 and Security & Safety Vietnam 2008 Exhibition will also be held during this time.
