SSC exports perfume to Japan
A Vietnamese cosmetics company has signed a deal with a Japanese distributor to export perfume to Japan.
Le Thi Kim Hoang, deputy general director of Saigon Cosmetics Corporation (SCC), said Musketeers Company has placed an order for 50,000 bottles of its Heart By Heart perfume.
Worth US$150,000 (VND2.5 billion), the contract is the biggest SCC has signed with a Japanese party since it started exporting perfume to the East Asian country a few months ago, Hoang said.
She said Musketeers would sell the perfume under the same brand and has also promised to promote two other brands.
Earlier this year, SCC successfully entered the Nigeria market, with Hoang saying revenue was about $250,000 (VND4.16 billion) in the first six months.
SCC also makes many other brands of perfume.
It said its products have received the Vietnamese High Quality Goods Award ten times since 1997.
The perfumes are exported to many other countries, including the U.S., China, Russia and Australia.
