Gia Lai invests in construction of industrial parks

Tra Da Industrial Park, the first in Gia Lai province, has attracted 29 projects from domestic and foreign investors with a total investment capital of VND 195 billion, 22 of them operational.

The industrial park covers an area of 109.3 hectares.

In the first half of this year, the industrial zone reached a total production value of VND 70.3 billion and a total turnover of VND 328.5 billion, provided over VND 3 billion for the national budget, made contribution to creating regular jobs for nearly 2,000 people, 12.8% of them are ethnic minority people.

The province is deploying the construction of the South Ham Rong Industrial Park with a total area of from 300 – 500 hectares and industrial complexes in Chu Se and Mang Yang districts and An Khe and Ayun Pa towns with an area of from 70 – 100 hectares each.
