DPR: Explanation for business result in Quarter II/2008

Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Company has explained the fluctuation of the business result in QII/2008 as follows: 

In QI/2008: Output sold: 3,176,94 tons; Average price: VND39,029,873 / ton;

In QII/2008: Output sold: 2,094,96 tons; Average price: VND44,879,812 / ton.

Reasons:

- The output sold in QII/2008 was lower than QI/2008, although the average price in QII/2008 increased by VND5,849,939/ton over QI/2008.

- Profit in QII/2008 decreased by VND12,347,789,758 (equivalent to 28.31%)  over QI/2008.

- Other incomes in QII/2008 increased by VND22,162,333,467 from the liquidation of rubber trees.

- In QII/2008, the company deducted VND9,888,000,000 for reserve fund of long-term financial investment.
