BVS: Explanation for 10 consecutive session floor plunge
On 06/08/2008, Bao Viet Securities Company explained the stock floor plunge for 10 consecutive sessions from 19/7/2008 to 1/8/2008 as follows:
- It can be seen that the floor plunge of the Company’s stock is due to the supply and demand of the stock market and investors.
- Currently, the Company’s operation has been carried out normally with big marketshare of securities brokerage. Especially, many consulting contracts have been signed, carried out with the expectation for much higher revenue.
- In July, the company actively restructured the portfolio focusing on good stocks with high growth prospect and liquidity. Through the portfolio restructure, the possible contingency of stock deduction rate at the end of July is VND 30 bil. lower than at June 30, 2008.
