TNC: Explanation for profit increase

Thong Nhat Rubber Joint Stock Company (Stock symbol: TNC) has explained the increase in profit in the first and the second quarter as follows:

Profit in Quarter II/2008 was VND6,475,527,374, a 9.6 percent increase (about VND567,165,477) compared to VND5,908,361,897 in Quarter I/2008. The reason was that price of rubber latex in Quarter II/2008 was higher than Quarter I/2008.
