- Par value:  VND 10,000

- Ex-right date:  August 6th, 2008   

- Record date:  August 8th, 2008      

- Dividend pay-out ratio: 8%/ par value (VND800 / share)

- Payment date:  August 28th, 2008

- Vietnam Securities Depository _ HCMC Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for SMC on August 7th, 8th & 11th, 2008.

Place & procedure of payment:

-Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.

-Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at SMC, 124 Ung Van Khiem St., Ward 25, Binh Thanh Dist., Hochiminh City.
