Sacom resort project breaks ground in Da Lat

Telecommunication and Cables Materials company under the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group broke ground for a resort, named the Sacom, at the Tuyen Lam lake tourist area in Da Lat city on July 28.

The 270.88 ha resort is the largest among 32 registered investment projects in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong .

The project, estimated to totally cost 2.25 trillion VND (134.048 million USD), will build an 18-hole golf course, a 400-room five-star hotel, a 150-room four-star hotel, 400 villas and entertainment facilities. It also includes golf and yacht clubs, a trade centre and a water park area.

The project is scheduled to put into operation by 2011.
