ANZ introduces financing service for local seafood exporters
The Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Banking Group introduced a service called the “Buyer Warehouse Receipt” to meet the needs of local seafood exporters at a recent seminar held in Ho Chi Minh City.
The measure offers a tailored financing package to support the working capital requirements of Vietnamese seafood companies.
“ANZ’s Buyer Warehouse Receipt assists in the management of working capital cash flow and keeps logistical costs at aminimum by allowing suppliers to consolidate orders and bulk ship and then break bulk cargos at location to minimize security clearance and compliance costs,” Dam Bich Thuy, the CEO of ANZ Vietnam, said at the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporting and Processing (VASEP) seminar
ANZ said the package is structured into two sections, including the Buyer Warehouse Receipt to support import and the Pre-Export Finance to support export.
In the next stage, ANZ will seek more opportunities to cooperate with other warehouse managing companies in order to extend the Warehouse Financing solution to clients in industries.
