HCMC STC announces the record date for the dividend payment in stock for the year 2007 as follows:

Par value: VND10,000
Ex-right date: June 9th, 2008
Record date: June 11th, 2008
Estimated trading date: July 3rd, 2008
Issuing volume: 3,900,000 shares
Dividend ratio: 15%/par value (The one who owns 20 shares at the record date will receive 3 shares as dividend). The volume will be rounded down. The fractional parts will be paid by cash at the par value.
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A currently owns 25 shares, the calculation as follows:
The number of shares distributed in theory: 25 shares × 15% = 3.75 shares
The number of shares in practical: 3 shares
The number of shares paid by cash: 0,75 shares x 10,000vnd = 7,500vnd
The right is not transferable.
The dividend in stock is transferable.
Place & procedure of payment:
-Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
-Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at Can Don Hydro Power Joint Stock Company.
Vietnam Securities Depository _ HCMC Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for SJD on June 10th, 11th & 12th, 2008.
