Sacombank permitted to open branches in Laos, Cambodia
The State Bank of Vietnam has given the go-ahead to the Sai Gon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) to open two branches in Laos and Cambodia .
The move is a further step in Sacombank’s plan to expand business activities abroad, following the success of a representative office in Guangxi , China , on January 8.
Sacombank’s two new branches are expected to facilitate trade ties among businesses from the three nations by supporting investment projects and import-export activities.
