Industrial production value up 3.4%

The industrial production value in June is estimated to reach over VND 56,000 billion, up 3.4% against May and 17.1% compared to the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

In total, the figure in the first six months is estimated to reach over VND 326,000 billion, up 16.5% compared to the same period last year, in which the value of the State sector has risen to 6.9%, the non-State sector up 22.3% and the foreign invested sector has gone up 17.4%.

An increase in the production value of some main industrial products is higher than the whole industrial sector's average figure, contributing to maintaining growth rate of the whole sector.

Specifically, trucks has seen an 103.4% increase in production value, passenger cars 89.6%, washing-machines 52%, different types of televisions 34%, car tyres 33.6%, fridges and refrigerators 26.9%, powder milk 23.3%, vegetable oil 23.1%.
