Import tariff for airplane fuel reduced to 0%

Import tariff for airplane fuel has been reduced to 0% from 5%, according to a new decision issued by the Ministry of Finance dated June 19.

The new tariff will become effective 15 days since the decision has been made public on the Official Gazette.

The move is considered as a governmental effort to help reduce input costs for the aviation sector in order to maintain the current airlines ticket prices.
