Thais bank promotes investment to Vietnam

Thailand’s Export-Import Bank (EXIMBANK), in co-ordination with Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, organised a workshop on opportunities for investment and co-operation in Vietnam on May 15. The workshop attracted the participation of many major Thai enterprises.

Addressing the workshop, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Nguyen Duy Hung stressed the fine co-operation and friendship between the two countries. Currently, Thailand has been among the top ten investors to Vietnam with a total registered investment capital of over US $6 billion so far.

The ambassador introduced Vietnam’s potential including abundant natural resources, young and skillful workforce, and transparent investment environment to Thai businessmen and urged them to invest in Vietnam.

Thai businesses expressed their great attention in the prospects and opportunities of investment in Vietnam.

Delegates to the workshop also had a chance to enjoy Vietnamese traditional food and a musical performance.

EXIMBANK is among the major banks in Thailand that often grants loans to Thai businesses, especially those that have investment projects abroad, including Vietnam.
