Vina Star rolls out new made-in-Vietnam truck

Vina Star Motors Corp. has launched its first truck produced in Vietnam , the Mitsubishi Canter.

The light duty truck available in three models, Canter 4.7 LW, Canter 6.5 Wide and Canter 7.5 Great, has a payload of 1.9 tonnes, 3.6 tonnes and 4.4 tonnes, respectively.

The vehicles conform to Vietnam ’s new emissions control standard of Euro-2 to ensure environmental protection. Vina Star Motors Corp. a 53 million among partners from Japan , Malaysia and Vietnam , is capable of annually manufacturing 5,000 cars of different models.
