Vietnam Tax Consultancy Association established

The Vietnam Tax Consultancy Association has just organised its first meeting in Hanoi to elect an Executive Board and passed the association’s regulations.

The association, established under a decision by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will act as a bridge between enterprises, businessmen, tax payers and tax agencies. It is the association of those who offer tax consultancy services and tax-related services.

The association currently has 50 companies-members and 250 individuals members. The organisational members include 43 auditing, accounting services, financial and tax services companies and seven lawyers’ offices. The association is completing procedures to admit 100 more member organisations and individuals.

The association will organise training courses to update knowledge on taxation and supervise the professional levels and business quality of organisations and individuals that provides tax-related services.

The association will also provide consultancy and assistance to enterprises and tax payers to understand and fully implement their tax duties and contribute opinions to State agencies on the building and implementing of tax policies.
