All listed stocks continue to hit ceiling prices as new trading bands in valid
Both two market indicators of the northern and southern bourses continued to gain with all listed stocks hitting ceiling prices as the new trading margins of 2% for the HOSE and 3% for the HASTC became effective today.
The VN-Index saw an increase of 1.75% or 9.33 points to close at 542.33. All 153 listed stocks on the bourse reached their ceiling prices. Total trading volume, though still at a low level, was improved compared to last week’s figures. There was not any offers remained while there were many bids remained.
Investors traded a total of 7.5 million shares on today’s session, worth totaling VND 667 billion. Specifically, 2,058 million shares and investment fund certificates were changed hands during the three matching phases for VND 110 billion and 190,000 shares and 5.3 million bonds were traded through negotiations.
Stock which were most traded in the session were DQC, SSI, TTF, PVT and BBC with 268,400 units, 231,290 units, 224,470 units, 187,960 units and 74,640 units successfully matched respectively.
The same scene was seen in the Hanoi bourse with heavy bids and no reciprocal offers. The HASTC-Index gained 2.61% or 5.4 points to close at 198.3 points. Total market volume was 1.6 million shares, worth VND 87.5 billion.
Except for three stocks listed on the northern bourse that had no transactions today, all the other 130 stocks were reported to be gainers, with a majority of them hit their ceiling prices.
