Merrill creates emerging market stock index, Poslovni reports
Merrill Lynch & Co. created a new stock index called Frontier that includes 50 of the most heavily traded shares from emerging markets, Poslovni Dnevnik reported.
The report cited Michael Hartnett, the bank’s chief emerging market strategist, as saying that the index will include stocks from 17 countries, including Kuwait, Pakistan, Nigeria, Croatia and Vietnam, the Croatian newspaper said.
