DCC: Explanation for business result in Q4/07

Descon Construction Corporation (DESCON) has explained business result in Q4/07 as follows:

Profit after tax in Q4/07: VND10,025,564,731

Profit after tax in Q3/07: VND3,510,095,654

Different rate: increase 185.62% or VND6,515,469,077

Reasons:

From the end of Q3/07 to Q4/07, the company signed contracts worth VND298 billion (equal to 68% of total contract value in 2007). Thus, profit after tax of construction activities in Q4/07 increased VND3.63 billion compared to that in Q3/07.

Financial income in Q4/07 rose VND3.96 billion or 237.77% compared to that in Q3/07. Thus, profit after tax in Q4/07 grew VND2.85 billion against Q3/07.
