Vietnam Airlines to hire foreign consultants for equitisation
The Vietnam Airlines Corporation has been permitted to hire foreign consulting service to serve its equitisation process.
Deputy Prime Ministry Nguyen Sinh Hung gave his nod to the issue on January 14.
The deputy PM allowed the corporation’s equitisation to be conducted in line with maintaining the current state-owned capital in the future joint stock business and issuing more shares to increase statutory capital.
The State will hold a 70-80 percent stake in the future joint stock firm while 10-20 percent of the firm’s capital will be sold to strategic foreign share-holders.
However, the specific proportion will be submitted to the Prime Minister for approval.
