VN-Index, HaSTC-Index on the rise
The VN-Index at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) jumped 15.09 points to finish at 1099.48 points at the end of the October 2 trading session.
The day saw more than 17.4 million shares worth 1.77 trillion VND being traded with 49 stocks rallying for gains, 50 others fell and 18 remained unchanged.
The HaSTC-Index at the Ha Noi bourse added 8.35 points to end today's trading session at 342.84 points. The trading value of the bourse doubled that of the previous session with more than 7.1 million shares worth 771.5 billion VND being traded.
The group of Song Da shares remained unchanged while blue chip Saigon Securities Inc. (SSI) fluctuated at between 225,000 – 227,000 VND per unit during the course of the morning.
Securities experts said that the VN-Index would see a strong increase when it surpassed the mark of 1,060 points or Fibonaci retracement level – the third level since its recovery.
