VN-Index exceeds 1,100 points, HaSTC on the rise
The VN-Index at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) once again exceeded the 1,100 point mark, while the HaSTC at the Ha Noi bourse also reported an increase by the end of the October 10 trading session.
By closing, the VN-Index jumped 7.31 points to finish at 1,104.67 points with over 14.3 million shares worth 1.28 trillion VND (80 million USD) being traded.
Hangxanh Motors Service (HAX), Hai Phong Paper (HAP), Ha Tien Transport (HTV) and My Chau Printing and Packing Holding (MCP) were the biggest movers of the day.
Blue chips, including Binh Dinh Minerals (BMC), Song Da Urban and Industrial Zone Investment and Development (SJS), Domesco Medical Import-Export (DMC), Imexpharm Pharmaceutical (IMP), PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services (PVD), Hoa Binh Rubber (HRC) and Sea and Air Freight International (SFI) also made solid recoveries over the previous session.
At the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre, the HaSTC rose by 6.18 points to close at 355.82 points. More than 4.5 million shares worth 532 billion VND (33.25 million USD) were traded on the day.
