HMC – explain of importing wasted materials

Hochiminh City Metal Corporation (HMC) has explained of importing wasted materials as follows:

Wasted materials of steel has been imported to produce steel with volume of 309.85 tons and transported by 13 containers to Cat Lai port, HCMC.

Total value: USD69,716.25

Now, this batch of goods has been considered by the authorities because it could impact on environment. It is being reassessed to make final decision.

HMC has confirmed that there is no damage to its business results. In case the material is not allowed to import in Vietnam, supplier is willing to re-import it or it can be exported to another country.
