- Hanoi Inter-city Bus JSC was formerly known as the company of Northern Passenger-Transport.

- June, 1999: The company was equitized according to the decision No 2582/QD-UB of Hanoi People's committee and started working based on the certificate of business registration No 056699 on 15 December, 1999 issued by Hanoi Department of Plan and Investment with the chartered capital of VND 4,33 billion.

- May, 2004: The company became a subsidiary of dependent accounting under Transerco based on the decision No 72/2004/QD-UB of Hanoi People's Committee.

- 2006: The company increased its chartered capital to VND 16,001 billion by issuing more stocks for current shareholders.
