- May 29, 1997: Ben Tre Urban Project Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Urban Project Department under Ben Tre Housing and Urban Project Company, was established.

- In 2010: The company was approved to participate in new industries. The charter capital was raised from VND5 billion to VND12 billion.
- In 2014: The company was approved to participate in new industries. The charter capital was raised from VND12 billion to VND24 billion.
- Dec 5, 2014: Went public in HOSE with the average winning bid of VND10,485 per share and had the charter capital of VND36 billion.
- Jan 29, 2015: The company was officially transformed into a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND36 billion.
- Sep 22, 2015: Became a public company.
- Mar 11, 2016: 3.6 million of BENTROPCO's shares was offered to trade on UPCoM with the reference price of VND10,500 per share.
- Mar 11, 2016: Traded on the UPCOM market.
