- In March 1967: VIWELCO, formerly known as Electric Welding Factory, was established, dependent on Ministry of Heavy Industry, with two production lines and equipment supplied by Germany. - In 1967: the factory had produced 230 tons Electric Welding for the country - In 1977: the factory was expanded with 6 production lines from Germany, design capacity of 7,200 tons per year and changed name to Viet - Duc Electric Welding Electrode Company - In 1978: the factory was not able to install production lines due to economic difficulties. - 1982: The company completed installing production lines and officially operated - In 1995: changed name to Viet - Duc Welding Electrode Company - In October 2003: changed to joint stock company - In December 2003: officially operated as a joint stock company with charter capital of VND13.71 billion - In November 2008: hiked charter capital to VND21.39 billion through stock dividend for 2007 - In July 2009: hiked charter capital to VND27.42 billion through stock dividend for 2008 and issuing bonus shares. - On April 22, 2010: The Company was listed on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). - On April 28, 2011: The Company listed more 1,507,631 shares, raising the charter capital to VND 42 billion. - November 2016: Increased charter capital to VND55.24 billion. |
