MBB: Record date to use treasury shares to distribute to existing shareholders On December 31, 2020, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued Announcement No.2166/TB-SGDHCM about the record date of Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank as follows:
- Ex-right date: January 06, 2021
- Record date: January 07, 2021
1) Reason & purpose: to use treasury shares to distribute to existing shareholders.
2) Content:
- Exercise ratio: 0.9237% (shareholder who owns 100 shares will receive 0.9237 new share).
- Distribution volume: 25,616,120 shares
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed treasury shares will not be rounded into 01 share, the fractional shares (if any) will be transferred to Union of Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
- For example: at the record date, shareholder A owned 1,234 shares. With performing ratio 100:0.9237 the shareholder A will receive: 1,234*0.9237/100 =11.39 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A receives 11 new shares.
- Price range on the ex-right date: +/-20% compared to the reference price.
