FCN: FCN was late in the disclosure of explanation for financial statements

On April 30, 2020, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) received the financial statements of Quarter 1 of FECON Corporation (stock code: FCN). On June 04, 2020, HOSE received a document from FECON Corporation regarding the explanation for the fluctuation in financial statements of Quarter 1 of 2020 compared to the same period of last year.

However, pursuant to Clause 4, Article 11 of Circular 155/2015/TT-BTC dated October 06,2015, “When a listing organization or a large-scale public company discloses information about the financial statements stated in clauses 1, 2 and 3 of this article, it must also explain the reason(s) upon occurrence of one of the following cases: a) The after-corporate income tax profit stated in the report on results of business operation in the disclosing period fluctuates by ten per cent (10%) or more in comparison with the report in the same disclosing period of the previous year.”, the Company was late in the disclosure of explanation.

The Hochiminh Stock Exchange reminded and suggested FECON Corporation comply with the regulations on disclosure of information on the securities market in order to ensure shareholders’ interests.
