Vietfish 2011 to take place this month

The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) will host the Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition 2011 (Vietfish 2011) from June 28-30 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event was expected to attract the participation of more than 190 international and local exhibitors from 11 countries including Thailand, Norway, Germany, Japan and the United States.

Apart from displaying aquatic products, the exhibition will also hold workshops on seafood market trends and measures to ensure safety for Vietnam’s seafood exports to major markets.

According to the General Secretary of VASEP, Truong Dinh Hoe, Vietfish 2011 was not only the place for businesses to display and introduce their products but also the place for advertising, seeking partners and signing contracts, as well as updating the latest information about the seafood industry such as new products and new technologies.
