Lam Dong authorities propose to revoke three sluggish projects

The People's Committee of Lac Duong District in the Central Highland Province of Lam Dong proposes to revoke licenses of three projects that are running behind schedule.

This was announced by Nguyen Duy Hai, Chairman of the district Peoples’ Committee, at a meeting with investors in the district on April 25.

The three projects include berry planting by the Khanh Bich fresh berry company, cold-water fish breeding by the Quang Minh real estate company and a tourism development project by the Mien Nhiet Doi Da Lat Company.

Land was allotted to the investors, but they have either not carried out the projects or are progressing far too slowly on them, which is leading to deforestation and forestland transgression.
