HSBC Vietnam opens new southern outlets

HSBC Vietnam has opened two new outlets in Ho Chi Minh City and Bien Hoa City in Dong Nai Province. They include Phan Dang Luu Transaction Office which will operate under HSBC’s HCMC Branch and Dong Nai Branch located in Bien Hoa City, one of Vietnam’s most dynamic industrial centers in southern region.

The Phan Dang Luu Transaction Office is located at 49I – 49H Phan Dang Luu Street, Phu Nhuan District. This transaction office offers HSBC’s full range of Personal Financial Services products and services to retail customers in Phu Nhuan District.

HSBC’s Dong Nai Branch is situated at 57 Pham Van Thuan Street, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province.

This branch is the province’s first outlet operated by a wholly-foreign owned bank, and is centrally located at the heart of the city so that HSBC customers can enjoy greater convenience when accessing HSBC products and services.

“As one of Vietnam’s most exciting centers for industry and investment, we are pleased to provide our customers in Dong Nai with connectivity to HSBC’s international network of banking services and the latest banking technology," said Thomas Tobin, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd.

Our attractive and contemporary office will enhance their banking experience and they can be assured of a comprehensive range of products tailored to their needs,” he added.

At present the bank operates a total of 14 outlets in Vietnam including branches in Hanoi, HCMC, Binh Duong, Can Tho, Danang and Dong Nai, as well as eight transaction offices across key urban centers of Hanoi and HCMC.

HSBC in Vietnam has just been named Best Bank in Vietnam by The Asset Triple A and awarded a certificate of merit from the State Bank of Vietnam for 15 years of service.

After entering the Vietnam market in 1870, HSBC has become one of the leading foreign banks in the country in terms of investment capital, network, product range, staff and customer base.
