DPM: Phu My Fertilizer Plant was back to operation

PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) has announced the Phu My Fertilizer Plant back to operation after a general maintenance as follows:

* The Phu My Fertilizer Plant belonged to PVFCCo’s management and running was back to operation on September 15, 2009. And after 20 days to stop working for a general maintenance, the plant returned into stable operation with 100% of the plant’s capacity.

* Staffs and technicians completed the maintenance 10 hours sooner than our expectation.

* The company co-operated with other companies in the same industry to import and ensure source of supply for the next winter-spring crop. In the plan, demands of fertilizer to the end 2009 were about 700,000 tons in which the demands of internal company and import inventories about 600,000 tons. PVFCCo and other companies in the same industry plan to import enough fertilizer for the internal demand to the end 2009 (estimated 100,000 tons).
