Another company ceases labor exports

The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has revoked the labor export license of IIG Vietnam Trading JSC.

The company Deputy Director Doan Ngoc Nguyen said, “The company has not been doing good business in this field, so we have decided to stop it.”

According to MoLISA’s Overseas Labor Management Department, the labor export market has been in bad times since late 2008 with less workers applying for positions.

Since the beginning of the year, at least three other enterprises have requested to cease the labor export business.

By law, businesses that close down will remain responsible for the interest of the workers that they have sent overseas until they return.
