eComBiz 2008 to open in December in HCM City

The National Forum and Exhibition on e-Commerce 2008 (eComBiz 2008) will be open at Majestic Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on December 3, the organiser Vietnam E-Commerce and Information Technology Agency, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced.

The annual event is held in order to review the current status of Vietnam’s e-commerce and work out orientations for e-commerce development for the following years.

eComBiz 2008 focuses discussions on the build-up of e-businesses, key factors to help enterprises to carry out successful business in a digital environment, especially in big cities like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

The event is expected to create an opportunity for State management agencies and enterprises to share experience for successful e-businesses, thus boosting the implementation of the Master Plan for E-commerce Development, helping Vietnamese enterprises catch up with the process of international integration.
